CASA GRANDE, Ariz. – January 10, 2023 — ROX Group welcomes John McGuire as Business Development Manager for its Rent-A-Can and ROX Media Pinal County operations. McGuire will initially focus on growth at Rent-A-Can and economic development projects with ROX Media.
“We are excited to have John join our team”, said Rock Earle, principal owner of ROX Group. “He comes to us at a time of expansion and his experience will help us move into the future.”
McGuire’s background is varied beginning in law enforcement right out of high school. After decades in that field, he transitioned to the private sector in sales and administration, working for several years in the public safety software industry rising to roles including VP of Sales and Product Management Director.
He then moved into a consulting sales role for a large provider of emergency supplies and training for Fortune 500 corporate clients with national footprints.
After suffering significant health problems in 2018 (sudden cardiac arrest and coma), McGuire worked in a business development role for the largest occupational health care/workers compensation injury care providers in Arizona and helped grow that operation from 4 Arizona clinics to 11 in just under 5 years, bringing in well known clients including Lucid Motors, Dexcom, Owens Corning, and others.
Thankfully his health problems have resolved and he is excited to resume a more rigorous work schedule with ROX Group companies.
“I am excited to be joining the ROX team as it enters into the next growth phase. With several divisions now in different industries, and with other expected expansions to come, I am ready to help bring ROX to the next level,” said McGuire.
McGuire is also active and well known in the local Casa Grande community. He manages a Facebook group on a volunteer basis with over 4,000 members, focused exclusively on Casa Grande local economic activities. He is a member of several business and networking groups. He likes to golf and spend time with his long time partner, Angela. They live in the Robson Ranch community in Eloy.
